D Set – New Intercity Fleet

The new Hyundai Rotem manufactured D set trains are currently under trials in 2020. They have been designed to replace the ageing V sets on intercity service, and enable the H sets to be reallocated to Sydney suburban services. Our version of the 6-car permanently coupled set can be connected with a special coupling bar.
